About the Role
Job Description:
Join Biodiversity Australia, a 100% Indigenous-owned Environmental Management Consulting Business, as a Bush Regen/Restoration & Vegetation Management Team Member. In this role, you will work on various land conservation projects across North Queensland, contributing to weed control, planting, and equipment maintenance.
This is a field-based position, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions. Biodiversity Australia is committed to your growth, offering ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals in Land Management.
This casual role offers a competitive hourly rate of $30–$32 per hour.
Requirements
Unrestricted Car Licence.
Ability to pass a police check.
Physically fit and capable of labour-intensive work.
Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
Desirable (but not essential):
Certificate I or II in Conservation Land Management.
Experience identifying native flora and invasive species.
Chemical application accreditation/ACDC Licence.
General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
4WD and towing experience or tickets.
Skills in operating and maintaining equipment such as zero-turn mowers, chainsaws, brush-cutters, and tractors.
