About the Role

Job Description: As our Purchasing Officer, you will deliver impactful procurement outcomes, ensuring timely supply, stakeholder engagement, and optimal commercial success across all sites.
Key activities include:
• Liaise with customers to identify business needs and plan procurement strategies
• Provide procurement advice and training for technical personnel
• Negotiate with suppliers and evaluate offers for best value
• Manage supplier performance and relationships
• Issue and administer purchase orders, ensuring compliance and timely delivery
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across multiple sites

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in purchasing within a complex environment

  • Strong knowledge of procurement law, strategies, and supplier evaluation

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

  • Demonstrates flexibility, teamwork, and a customer-focused approach

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
